Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) are trained to help themselves, family, and their community. To prepare 
for, respond to, and recover from disasters.

Functions:

  • Damage assessment
  • Warning & notification
  • Evacuation
  • Identify & assist those with access & functional needs
  • Emergency triage & first aid
  • Search & rescue
  • Preparedness
  • Periodic reporting to City
  • Suppress small fires
  • Emergency utility control
